Brad Brinkley grew up in a small Texas town about 30 miles southeast of Houston known as Baytown. His father played fiddle with several professional groups, including Johnny Lee and Mark Chesnutt. Brad was continuously surrounded by music when young and soon began singing at churches, fairs and festivals. While in high school, he and his sister formed a band and played at venues in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana, such as Cowboy’s and the Longhorn Club.  As their reputation grew, the duet was soon in demand, opening for country music stars like Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Sammy Kershaw, Willie Nelson and many others.  Currently, Brad lives in Westlake, Louisiana and is the principal at Maplewood Elementary School in Sulphur, where he previously served as assistant principal. Brad has two sons, Kaleb and Joe.
