John Ware is Vice President and General Manager of KPLC-TV in Lake Charles. Originally from Baton Rouge, John has been in Southwest Louisiana, while working at KPLC in various capacities, for the last 25 years. He has a degree in communications from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and has been married to his college sweetheart, Yvette Hoselle Ware, for 35 years.  They have a daughter who is currently attending ULL, their alma mater. His hobbies are filmmaking and woodworking, though he says he doesn’t spend enough time on either one.  John’s sport of choice is snow skiing, and he would ski everyday if he could. Dancing, on the other hand, is very much out of his comfort zone, but he wants to help The Whistle Stop and Dancing Classrooms in any way he can.  He’s committed to putting on a great show!
